Etsy's fees stack up fast. You pay a $0.20 listing fee per item, a 6.5% transaction fee on the sale price (including shipping), and a payment processing fee of 3% + $0.25. On a $25 sale, that's roughly $2.40–$2.60 in fees before you account for materials or labor. The calculator models all three fee layers automatically.

The formula: (materials cost + labor cost + overhead) ÷ (1 − target margin %) = minimum selling price.
